I’m more convinced than ever that someone really did take a shit in my rear differential.
Let this be a reminder to all Oppo’s... ALWAYS change ALL fluids when you buy a used car. You have absolutely no idea where it been or how the prior owner treated it.

I’m confused. Are these more pics from when you wiped it out the other day? Or i s this the result of giving it a “rinse cycle ” a fter putting fresh oil in it, to help try to get the stuff that you couldn’t reach?

1) I was thinking water but more knowledgeable Oppos would know better than me.
2) I watched the video and, don’t take this the wrong way, but I seriously hope you took the time to answer all of your significant other’s( ?) qu estions after the video stopped. TBH, I was curious myself.

Wow, that looks like an oil/water mixed nightmare !! Hopefully enough lubrication was provided .
Great advice on replacing fluids in newly bought vehicles. Bought an ‘88 Jeep Comanche recently and there was MAYBE one cup worth of ancient looking fluid in the trans. From a quick spin around the neighborhood prior to replacing, I thought it had straight-cut gears.
